Double Wedding Weekend - June 19&20, 2010

The Busyest weekend of my life. Fly out to UT see my Friends wedding then jump in the car for Brian's Friends wedding the next day, thing is, the weddings are in two diffrent states.

when we got to Utah, we stayed with my sister Rebecca. i got to Spend some time with my nieces.

Saturday was Natalie's wedding at the LDS Salt Lake Temple

we got to attend their wedding. First Picture as Mr. and Mrs. Bushmen

a few quick pictures. Now as Married Ladys. we have know each other since Kindergarten.

Then we jump in the car and Headed to Oregon

once we reached Oregon, it was a world like no other. mountins and trees iv never seen before were SO beautiful! ... we reach our destination around 1am Sunday and the wedding was at 2pm

then the next day we headed back to UT. i didnt want to Leave Oregon so many breath taking scenery.

when we got back to UT we stoped by to see my Grandparents.

NEY YORK CITY - May 4, 2010

First time visiting NYC. was so much fun! we took a bus from MD and got droped off in Time Square

At Time Square, we got McDonalds since it was right there then walked to Central park.

"The Mall" is the name of a long quiet walk, centered in the middle of the park.

walking around the park you can see the tall buildings that surround it.

the park is so big that we rented bikes

after spending a few hours in the park. we searched out the LDS Temple.

after that we made our way back to Time Square taking the Subway back.

there we stoped at MnM world. it was FULL of MnMs

then we walked down to the Empire State Building

the View was Unbelievable from all 4 sides. this is the tip of NYC. the Statue of Liberty is to the Right of the picture.

making our way to the pick up point we pass the Macy Store

then at 6pm the bus picked us up in Rockefeller Center

I cant wait to go back again!!!

How we met

Our story starts in August of 2006.

My Best Friend Courtney wanted to go to Institute one night.

when we arrived at the LDS Glen Burnie Building two guys were standing in the foyer. One of them greeted Courtney with a friendly "Hello" then the two guys introduced themself. Tarik (really Tall and skinny) and Brian ( dark hair and quiet) while we waited for the institute teacher to show up, the four of us headed into the gym and played around shooting hoops.

At the time Brian was going to school at Anne Arundel Community College and i worked at that College in the Cafeteria. It wasn't until after i had missed two weeks of institute that Brian came to the Cafeteria to ask if i was coming to institute this week. I don't know why, but after that day i never forgot to go again.

A few weeks later, before returning home from institute, i asked Brian for his Number. I was having fun hanging out with him and Tarik before and after institute and I wanted to Talk to him more.

It wasn't till late October that Brian and I went on our first date (he asked me). We started off with a movie at a nearby theater. Afterward we had dinner at a place called Double-T. Following that, we went to his house and we played video games. Brian was amazed that I was pretty good at it.

So, our interest for each other bloomed and we kept finding more things to love about each other. When things looked too good to be true, a cliff hanger dropped in front of us. I and my family Had to move to Missouri (around the same time Brian was to leave for an LDS Mission).

On December 6th Brian confessed his Love to me. He'd been working up the courage to tell me, not knowing if telling me would scare me away or keep me close...
